An accident is an unfortunate event.  Each accident is unique and takes on an infinite number of casualties.  Accidents involving moving vehicles(auto, truck, bus, motorcycle, train, plane, etc.), pedestrians, natural disasters, or buildings collapsing are a few examples when accurate reconstruction of an occurrence is enhanced by a thorough survey of the site.  Methods of investigation and analysis common to many of these events are utilized by L.A. Stevens & Associates during the survey of an accident site.  These commonalities, which we know generally and collectively as mathematics and physics, allow the surveyor to study and record the hard and soft evidence needed to make determinations about what happened before, during and immediately after the accidental event.
